Good News for the ASUS users. ASUS devices are now receiving OTA (Over The Air) Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update. As of now ASUS has started rolling out the Marshmallow update for the ZenFone 2 Laser and ZenFone Max. All the variants of ZenFone 2 Laser (5 inch, 5.5 inch, 6 inch) will receive the update.
Asus ZenFone 2 Laser and ZenFone Max users also can manually check for this latest Android update. Just go to the Settings > About > System Update.
ASUS warns users that the transfer of apps from internal storage to microSD card will no longer be available once the users updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. So transfer all your favourite apps to internal storage before upgrading.
According to ASUS, some preloaded apps will be removed such as Asus Calendar, Asus Email, Asus messaging from the devices after updating. Instead of these preloaded apps, Asus will use the default Google apps for relevant services.
