Android N - Update & Release Date

After Google's Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update, Google released their next Android Developer Preview of Android N before our expectations.

Android N Developer Preview Version

Google released the the Android N Developer Preview 1 (Alpha) within 6 Months after the release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow which Officially released in 5th October 2015. Google's Android N is now into its Beta Version. Nexus users are always First in the series to get these updates Over The Air (OTA). Google Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9 and Google Pixel C users are using the latest build of Android N preview. After the 5th Preview of near-final build version, the Final Android 7.0 AOSP version will set for a release in the August or September of this year. The "N" of Android N is still not confirmed by Google. So, we can just wait for this latest version and the features coming with it.

Android N Developer Preview 1 (Alpha) : March 2016
Android N Developer Preview 2 (Beta) : April 2016
Android N Developer Preview 3 (Beta) : May 2016
Android N Developer Preview 4 (Final APIs & SDK) : June 2016
Android N Developer Preview 5 (Near-Final Build) : July 2016
Android N 7.0 Final AOSP Build : August or September 2016
